**** this tour is flexible, you can add visits into the program on condition that time is allowed and the visits are by the road
Day01: Chengdu to Pingle old town to Shangli old town
drive to Pingle by Cheng-Wen-Qiong express highway, by the tourplan, you can spend 3 to 4 hours inside the town for sightseeing and tea drinking by the riverside.
after here, drive over a mountain by zigzaging road to Shangli town
Day02: Shangli to Bifengxia panda base to Liujiang to Mt.Emeishan
Bifengxia panda base will open to tourists between 08:30 and 11:30 in the morning, therefore, you need to get there before 08:30, and, spend about 2 more hours inside for panda fun.
after there, leave Bifengxia for Liujiang, Liujiang is a small relatively old town, a wide river flows through; this town (or, this village) was remote and isolated tot he outside world 6 years ago because of poor road conditions; with the develope of local transportation system, new tar roads had been paved into this village; more and more tourists pour into for relax in weeked.
Day03: Mt.Emeishan tour
whole day tour in Mt.Emei.
** if you want to go to the summit of Mt. Emei, you need to get up VERY early this morning, and take the first sightseeing bus up there; after your time at the summit, you take sightseeing bus back and stop at Wanniansi bus station, and start your tour to the waist of Mt.Emei, where you can see old and amzing structured Wanniansi temple and enjoy some fun of monkeys (if you liek monkeys); and, you walk to Qinyin pavilion, Yixiantian, and finally, you get to Wuxiangang, from there, you take bus back to hotel
** if you do not want to go to the summit of Mt.Emei, you can get up relatively late, and spend your time on the waist of Mt.Emei, and follow instructions above
Day04: Emeishan to Leshan to Qianwei Luocheng old town to Jiayang
leave Mt.Emei at around 08:15 for Leshan, spend 2.5 hours sightseeing in Leshan big buddha park; we recommend you to end your this tour at Hao Shang bridge, a old bridge with beautiful and traditional structure.
after here, drive to Luocheng old town, have lunch there inside the town.
Luocheng is famous among people for its unique shape; this town, with a bird view from sky, looks like a fishing boat, two ends pointed and its middle (waist) wide; some people call it ' Noah Ark town'.
Day05: Jiayang to Yibin Lizhuang to Yibin Bamboo sea
today, go and take the first train into Bajiaogou for sightseeing; and you return back to the departure poin before 15:00; then leave there for Yibin Lizhuang old town.
NOTE: if time not allowed,spend night at Lizhuang
Day06: Bamboo sea to Rongchang county
spend time in the bamboo sea region; in middle afternoon (around 16:00), leave Bamboo sea for Rongchang county town
NOTE: if time allowed, today, you go to Dazu county
Day07: Rongchang county to Dazu to Chengdu /or to Chongqing
whole day tour at Dazu grottoes region.
in middle afternoon (around 16:00),leave Dazu grottoes region and go back to Chengdu; if your tour plan is going to Chongqing for Yangtze cruise tour, the driver will send you to Chognqing.
